One World Trade Center
No ordinary building. No ordinary plumbing solutions. One World Trade Center and Sloan are a natural partnership when it comes to one of the world’s most important landmark building projects.
Dubbed the “Freedom Tower,” 1WTC is part of a larger complex that includes 5 high-rise buildings of staggering proportion and scale. When architect Skidmore, Owings & Merrill envisioned the skyscraper’s bathrooms, sustainability was a key factor in choosing SOLIS® flush valves and faucets to deliver the best of the best for this ambitious reconstruction project.

Products in this case study
We were asked to come up with a special design for flush valves with the most up-to-date technology for efficiency and energy savings. After several meetings with engineers Jaros Baum and Bolles, lead designers with architects SOM, and representatives from Silverstein Properties, our Solis product was selected, both flush valves and faucets. It is only fitting that the tallest, most famous structure built in the US this past decade should have Sloan product installed.
